Senate authority to review the qualifications of undergraduate teaching assistants and other instructors

ASR 750 (D) states:

Only persons approved by the appropriate administrative officer, with the concurrence of the committee on courses concerned, may assist in instruction in courses authorized by the Academic Senate.

The Senate, and in this Division the Committee on Courses of Instruction, has the responsibility of reviewing the qualifications of all instructors and assistants to instructors in courses offered for academic credit.
